Join us.\n Key Responsibilities\nEstablish, verify, and maintain project survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference levels.\nReview approved IFC and shop drawings and verify setting-out information before construction activities commence.\nPerform and verify setting-out for roads, utilities, pipelines, manholes, chambers, structures, kerbs, street lighting, landscaping, and other infrastructure works.\nVerify horizontal and vertical alignments, levels, gradients, slopes, offsets, and coordinates.\nCheck excavation levels, formation levels, pipe invert levels, road layers, finished road levels, and utility installations.\nConduct independent survey checks of Contractor setting-out and completed works to ensure compliance with project requirements.\nCoordinate closely with the RE, AREs, discipline engineers, inspectors, contractors, and survey teams.\nIdentify and report discrepancies between approved drawings, site conditions, and Contractor setting-out information.\nMaintain accurate survey records, field books, coordinate schedules, level records, inspection reports, and documentation.\nVerify quantities, measurements, and survey data to support progress assessments and commercial evaluations.\nConduct surveys for existing utilities, tie-in locations, interfaces, and construction constraints.\nReview and verify as-built surveys and drawings against completed works.\nSupport authority inspections, snagging, de-snagging, final surveys, and project handover activities.\nEnsure surveying instruments are properly calibrated, maintained, and supported by valid calibration certificates.\nEnsure all surveying activities comply with project QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and applicable authority regulations.\n Diploma in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, or equivalent qualification in Land Surveying.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in land surveying for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.\nProven experience in surveying and setting-out for roads, utilities, drainage, potable water, sewerage networks, structures, and landscaping works.\nProficient in the use of Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, Digital Levels, and other surveying instruments.\nStrong knowledge of coordinate systems, benchmarks, control networks, alignments, levels, profiles, and as-built surveys.\nExperience in verifying Contractor setting-out and completed works for compliance with project requirements.\nFamiliarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and survey-related QA/QC procedures.\nUAE/GCC infrastructure project experience is preferred.\nStrong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
