Join us.\n We are looking for a Land Surveyor to join our infrastructure project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and verifying surveying activities to ensure that construction works comply with approved drawings, coordinates, levels, dimensions, and project specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nInspect and verify surveying and setting-out activities for infrastructure and bridge construction works.\nCheck survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and levels before and during construction.\nVerify setting-out and alignment for bridge foundations, piles, pile caps, abutments, piers, retaining walls, and bridge decks.\nInspect surveying works related to roads, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and other infrastructure elements.\nVerify excavation levels, formation levels, embankments, road profiles, and finished levels.\nReview survey reports, setting-out data, level records, and as-built drawings submitted by the contractor.\nEnsure surveying activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.\nCoordinate with the contractor's survey team, site inspectors, and engineers to resolve discrepancies in levels, coordinates, and dimensions.\nIdentify and report surveying errors or deviations and follow up on corrective actions.\nMonitor the accuracy and calibration of surveying equipment and verify relevant calibration certificates.\nMaintain accurate survey inspection records and support the preparation of progress reports and project handover documents.\nRequirements\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.\nRelevant experience in surveying inspection for infrastructure, bridge, or major civil construction projects.\nGood knowledge of setting-out, levelling, coordinate systems, and as-built surveys.\nExperience using Total Station, GNSS/GPS, Auto Level, and other surveying equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and survey data.\nGood reporting, communication, and coordination skills.\nPrevious experience in the UAE is preferred.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
