Join us.\n We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Landscape Inspector to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful landscaping and infrastructure projects while working alongside a collaborative and professional team. As a Landscape Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all landscape installations meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in plant identification, field inspections, and quality assurance will help shape the region's outdoor environments while maintaining the highest professional standards.\nConduct daily field inspections of landscape installations and maintain comprehensive inspection records with attention to detail and accuracy\nIdentify and classify plants according to established grades and standards, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local regulations\nMonitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements through systematic inspection duties\nAnalyze soil conditions and make recommendations for soil amendments to ensure optimal plant growth and long-term landscape success\nCoordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of landscape installation projects while maintaining transparent communication\nPrepare detailed inspection reports including photographic documentation, findings, and recommendations for corrective actions\nParticipate in pre-construction meetings to review landscape plans, identify potential issues, and address concerns before installation begins\nAssist in developing and implementing maintenance plans for newly installed landscapes to ensure sustained performance and aesthetic appeal\nParticipate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning activities to verify project completion and quality standards\nTrack quality assurance progress and provide input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers\nRead and interpret contract documents to ensure all work aligns with project requirements and specifications\nCollaborate with project teams to resolve landscaping challenges and implement innovative solutions\n At least 6 years of relevant landscape inspection or landscaping experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education\nRelevant landscaping or horticulture certifications\nKnowledge of UAE landscaping regulations, standards, and best practices\nExperience with desert landscaping and irrigation system installation\nStormwater management and erosion control knowledge\nFamiliarity with landscape installation methods and techniques\nExperience with soil analysis and amendment recommendations\nProficiency in photography and digital documentation for inspection records\nAbility to read and interpret landscape design plans and contract documents\nExperience developing and implementing landscape maintenance plans\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
