Join us.\n We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Mechanical Engineer - Site Supervision to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee mechanical engineering operations on-site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. You will serve as a key liaison between engineering teams, contractors, and project management, providing decisive technical leadership and guidance to ensure successful project execution.\nSupervise and coordinate mechanical engineering activities on construction and industrial sites, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards\nConduct regular site inspections and technical assessments of mechanical systems, equipment installations, and infrastructure\nMonitor compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local UAE building codes and regulations\nReview and approve mechanical work, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness\nIdentify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies in real-time, implementing corrective actions as needed\nCoordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and proper installation of mechanical components\nMaintain detailed site records, progress reports, and technical documentation for all mechanical work performed\nLead and mentor on-site engineering teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring professional standards are maintained\nParticipate in project meetings and communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to senior management\nEnsure all mechanical systems are tested, commissioned, and operational before project handover\n Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field\nProfessional Engineering License (PE) or equivalent certification recognized in the UAE\nMinimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years in site supervision or on-site project management\nStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, industrial equipment, and construction standards\nProficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) and project management tools\nComprehensive understanding of UAE building codes, safety regulations, and local compliance requirements\nExperience with technical documentation, specifications review, and quality control processes\nSafety certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) preferred\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
