Join us.\n The Planning Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and reporting on the Contractor's planning and scheduling activities for major stormwater, drainage, irrigation, and associated infrastructure projects. The role requires close coordination with the Senior Resident Engineer, Contractor, and Project Team to ensure timely project delivery and effective management of programme risks.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReview and analyze the Contractor's baseline programme, recovery programmes, and updated schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements.\nMonitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays, risks, and mitigation measures.\nEvaluate construction sequencing, work logic, resource allocation, and critical path activities.\nCoordinate closely with Contractor planners and the supervision team to verify actual site progress.\nConduct regular site visits to assess progress and validate programme updates.\nPrepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, critical path analyses, and schedule performance assessments.\nTrack and report key project milestones, deliverables, and programme variances.\nAssist in evaluating Extension of Time (EOT) claims, variations, disruption claims, and recovery plans.\nMaintain accurate records of programme monitoring and support the assessment of contractual claims and change requests.\nProvide planning and scheduling support to the Senior Resident Engineer during project meetings, negotiations, and dispute resolution processes.\nCoordinate with contractors, utility authorities, and project stakeholders to ensure programme alignment and successful project delivery.\n Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.\nMinimum 7years of experience in planning and scheduling of infrastructure projects.\nProven experience in stormwater drainage, irrigation, roads, utilities, or infrastructure projects.\nProficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.\nStrong understanding of CPM Scheduling, Critical Path Analysis, and Earned Value principles.\nExperience in contract administration and claims analysis is preferred.\nUAE/GCC experience is highly desirable.\n Project Planning & Scheduling\nPrimavera P6\nCritical Path Analysis\nProgress Monitoring & Reporting\nDelay Analysis & EOT Assessment\nRisk Management\nContract & Claims Support\nStakeholder Coordination\nStrong Analytical and Communication Skills\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
