Join us.\n We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design of mechanical systems for diverse building types, including commercial, industrial, and military projects. The successful candidate will bring expertise in plumbing, sewage, drainage and/or fire suppresion installations, working across all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to delivery. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who is passionate about building services and design excellence.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign of Plumbing Installations: Plan and design systems for buildings, covering areas such as drainage, sewage, cold/hot water, and firefighting systems.\nMechanical Calculations: Perform detailed calculations for plumbing and other mechanical installations, ensuring system integrity and performance.\n 3D BIM Modeling: Utilize Revit to create 3D BIM models of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems across all Levels of Development (LOD).\nTechnical Expertise: Provide specialized technical input and insights for studies and designs within the mechanical engineering discipline.\nInterdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary reviews to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines.\nQuality Control: Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings to ensure adherence to project standards.\nTechnical Specifications: Prepare and develop technical specification sections for plumbing and other mechanical systems.\nBudget and Schedule Input: Contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.\n Qualifications & Experience:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in building services engineering.\nMinimum of 6 years of professional experience in HVAC and plumbing design.\nProficiency in at least one engineering modeling/drafting software.\nAdvanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.\nPreferred:\nExperience with Revit MEP.\nFamiliarity with Common Data Environment platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC).\nExperience with clash detection software.\nSite experience\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
