How you’ll make a difference
- Act as Technical Lead / Design Authority for major bridge projects.
- Lead delivery of complex bridge solutions, including:
- Major river crossings and long-span structures
- Freight, rail, and heavy-haul infrastructure
- Provide high-level technical review, design certification, and risk management.
- Lead and oversee compliance with AS 5100, Austroads, MRWA, and project-specific requirements.
- Support bids, tenders, and proposals, including methodology, resourcing, and fee inputs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor senior and emerging engineers and contribute to capability development.
- Represent the business at client meetings and industry forums.
The qualities that help you thrive
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
- 15+ years’ experience in bridge and major infrastructure design.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) - Engineers Australia.
- Demonstrated experience working with Main Roads WA projects and standards.
- Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams in a consultancy environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing capability.
- Ability to provide clear technical direction and professional judgement.
