AECOM is proud to be a Fortune 500 Most Admired Company, a WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, #Work180 Equitable Workplace Awards 2025 Winner and an AWEI Bronze Tier LGBTQ+ Inclusive Employer.\n Help shape the infrastructure that connects land and sea.\nWe are seeking a Marine Structural Engineer to support the planning, analysis, design and delivery of marine and port infrastructure.\nWorking alongside coastal, geotechnical, civil and environmental specialists, you will contribute across feasibility studies, concept development, detailed design, construction support and asset management.\nThis role offers a varied mix of new infrastructure design and assessment of existing assets, including ports, wharves, jetties, berthing facilities, offshore structures and coastal assets.\nHow you’ll make a difference\nUndertake structural analysis and design for wharves, jetties, berthing and mooring structures, dolphins, fender systems, marine retaining walls and offshore infrastructure.\n\nAssess vessel berthing and mooring loads, wave and environmental loading, seismic effects, fatigue and durability.\n\nDevelop concept, preliminary and detailed designs, preparing engineering calculations, reports, specifications and construction documentation.\n\nConduct marine asset inspections and structural condition assessments, recommending rehabilitation works and supporting asset life extension and lifecycle planning.\n\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet quality, safety, budget and programme requirements.\n\nProvide construction and commissioning support, including reviewing contractor submissions, shop drawings and temporary works designs.\n\nBuild client relationships and contribute to proposals, tenders and the growth of our marine infrastructure portfolio in Western Australia.\n\n The qualities that help you thrive\nThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
