You will provide technical leadership and structural engineering design input across a diverse range of projects, including health, sports infrastructure, aviation, defence, education and commercial buildings.\nAlongside your technical responsibilities, you'll play an important role in coordinating resources across our National Building Structures and Civil Engineering team, helping ensure the right people are in place to deliver projects while supporting workload planning, team development and business growth.\nHow you’ll make a difference:\nLead the delivery of complex building projects across key markets including health, education, defence, transport, commercial, aviation, sports and data centres.\n\nLead and contribute to conceptual and detailed structural design and construction administration, delivering practical, high-quality and cost-effective solutions.\n\nProvide technical leadership across structural building design, ensuring compliance with Australian codes, standards and engineering best practice.\n\nPrepare and review design calculations, specifications, models and technical documentation, ensuring quality and well-coordinated design outcomes.\n\nBuild strong client relationships, support business development and contribute to winning work and growing AECOM's structural engineering portfolio.\n\nWork closely with clients, other disciplines and project teams to coordinate design outcomes, manage project requirements and meet budgets and schedules.\n\nLead, mentor and develop team members, supporting technical excellence, career development and a positive team culture.\n\nCoordinate workforce planning and resource allocation across our national Building Structures and Civil team, monitoring workloads and future demand to balance project priorities, team capacity and business needs.\n\n The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
