Join us.\n We’re looking for experienced Program Managers to help shape, establish and lead the delivery of multiple projects across South East Queensland.\nThis is an opportunity for a confident program management professional who understands how to take a collection of projects and lots, establish the right program structure, and create the frameworks, governance and processes needed to successfully deliver them as one integrated program.\nYou’ll play a key role in setting up and overseeing programs from the ground up, working across project teams, clients, stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure projects are aligned to the broader program objectives.\nWhat you’ll do\nYou will provide senior leadership across a portfolio of projects, with responsibility for establishing and overseeing the core functions of program management.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nEstablishing and setting up programs, including program structures, governance frameworks, delivery strategies, reporting and controls.\nProviding oversight across multiple projects and lots, ensuring they are aligned with overall program objectives, priorities and outcomes.\nDeveloping and implementing program management frameworks, processes and systems to support consistent and effective delivery.\nEstablishing program governance, assurance, reporting and performance management frameworks.\nCoordinating multiple project streams and ensuring dependencies, interfaces, risks and opportunities are actively managed.\nProviding strategic oversight of program schedule, cost, risk, resources, procurement and delivery performance.\nWorking closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure individual projects remain aligned to the broader program.\nIdentifying and managing program-level risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.\nEstablishing clear program reporting and providing accurate, meaningful insights to senior leadership and clients.\nBuilding strong relationships with clients, project teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.\nProviding senior-level advice and guidance on program delivery, governance and project management fundamentals.\nSupporting the development and continuous improvement of AECOM’s program management capability.\nLeading and mentoring project and program professionals, creating a high-performing and collaborative delivery environment.\n What you’ll bring\nWe’re looking for an experienced program management professional who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and delivery level.\nYou’ll ideally bring:\nSignificant experience in program management, project management or major project delivery, ideally within infrastructure, property, buildings or another delivery environment.\nProven experience establishing and setting up programs, rather than simply managing an established program.\nStrong understanding of the fundamentals and core competencies of program management.\nExperience overseeing multiple projects, work packages, lots or delivery streams concurrently.\nStrong capability across program governance, risk, schedule, cost, reporting, assurance and stakeholder management.\nThe ability to understand the detail of individual projects while maintaining a clear view of the overall program.\nStrong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to identify issues, opportunities and interdependencies across a portfolio.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work with senior clients and executive stakeholders.\nDemonstrated leadership capability, with experience guiding project teams and influencing stakeholders across a complex delivery environment.\nA proactive and structured approach, with the ability to bring clarity, governance and consistency to complex programs.\n Why you’ll love working with us\nFlexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, job-sharing and hybrid work options.\nPurchase up to 6 weeks additional annual leave per year.\nSwap public holidays - swap Easter or other holidays for ones that suit you better.\nContinuous learning and growth - lunch and learns, professional development courses, financial study assistance, 5 days paid study leave, global career opportunities.\nReady to push the limits of what’s possible?\nWe welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities, additional health or mental health needs, and/or neurodiverse conditions.
