Join us.\n AECOM is seeking an Program Manager specializing in Hyper-scale Data Centers. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based out of any of AECOM's U.S. offices.\nThis position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of locations in the US were AECOM has an office.\nAlthough the position is primarily remote periodic travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other business-critical activities. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with an opportunity for upward career mobility.\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager to play a critical leadership role within the AECOM US Data Center Practice. Candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, leading major proposal efforts, managing strategic client programs, and ensuring successful execution of high-value design projects.\nThis role operates at the intersection of business development, client management, and project delivery, ensuring that client pursuits are competitive, programs are executed efficiently, and financial and operational objectives are achieved.\nThe Program Manager will partner closely with executive leadership, design directors, client account managers, and discipline leaders to support revenue growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence across hyperscale and colocation data center programs.\nThis position is ideal for a highly organized, business-minded leader with deep experience in managing complex A/E/C programs and supporting major proposal pursuits.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide program-level leadership across multiple concurrent data center design projects\nMonitor program performance including schedule, budget, staffing, and risk\nIdentify and resolve program-level constraints impacting delivery\nEnsure consistency of execution across multiple projects and clients\nSupport Design Managers and Project Managers in maintaining successful delivery\nSupport business development and proposal writing for new pursuits.\nLead preparation of major technical and commercial proposals, including:Go / No-Go coordination\nProposal schedules and deliverable management\nFee strategy coordination\nStaffing plans and resource alignment\nExecutive review coordination\nInterview preparation and coaching\nCoordinate closely with Client Account Managers, and Technical Leaders\nImprove proposal processes, templates, and win strategies\nSupport capture planning for strategic pursuits\nServe as a key point of contact for strategic clients\n\nParticipate in client meetings, presentations, and program reviews\nSupport Client Account Managers in maintaining strong client relationships\nHelp identify new opportunities within existing client programs\nAssist in managing client expectations and overall client experience\n·Travel as needed for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.\n Required Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus eight (8) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. \nMinimum 5+ years managing complex programs or major projects\nExperience supporting or leading proposal efforts\nStrong understanding of A/E/C project delivery process\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nStrong business and financial acumen\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent priorities\nPreferred Qualifications:\n10 plus years of relevant experience. \nDirect experience supporting data center projects\nExperience working with hyperscale or colocation clients\nExperience managing large multi-disciplinary design teams\nExperience with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery models\nPMP certification preferred\nProfessional licensure (Architect, Engineer) is a plus but not required.\n Relocation is not available for this role.\nSponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nTHIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY, AND AECOM INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY APRIL 5, 2027.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
