AECOM is an American infrastructure consulting firm that became independent in 1990 through a management buyout from the energy group Ashland, and is now one of the largest design and engineering organisations in the world. It plans, designs and manages delivery of transport systems, water and wastewater infrastructure, buildings, environmental remediation and energy projects for public agencies and private developers across roughly one hundred and fifty countries. Headquartered in Dallas after relocating from Los Angeles, the company sold its self-perform construction and government services arms to concentrate on higher-margin professional services rather than carrying construction risk.

  • Apply Earned Value Management principles and other performance-measurement techniques, as required, to assess project cost performance.
  • Reconcile cost information between the PMIS, financial systems, contractor records, and other project data sources.
  • Prepare high-quality weekly and monthly cost reports, forecasts, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Support program-level consolidation and reporting of financial information across multiple projects and contracts.
  • Assist with cash-flow projections, funding analyses, cost trending, and management reporting.
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining complete, accurate, and traceable cost documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with established program financial controls, reporting requirements, change management procedures, and approval authorities.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly project and program meetings and present cost-related information, as required.
  • Collaborate with scheduling, risk, change management, document control, procurement, and construction teams to support integrated project controls.
