Join us.\n JOB DESCRIPTION\nPROJECT DIRECTOR / TEAM LEADER\nPosition Details\nPosition: Project Director / Team Leader\nBusiness Line: Project Management Consultancy (PMC)\nProject: Manufacturing Ecosystem Facility\nLocation: Dholera project Site\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking an accomplished Project Director / Team Leader to provide overall leadership for Project Management Consultancy services for development of an Manufacturing Ecosystem Facility. The role shall lead and govern the project from design coordination through construction, testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery against cost, schedule, quality, safety and operational objectives.\nResponsibilities:\nProject Leadership & Management\nProvide overall leadership and governance of PMC services throughout the project lifecycle. \nServe as the single point of accountability to the Employer for project delivery. \nEstablish project governance frameworks, reporting protocols and decision-making structures. \nLead executive reviews and strategic planning initiatives. \nDesign Coordination & Delivery Management\nOversee multidisciplinary design coordination among consultants, OEMs, contractors and stakeholders. \nResolve design interfaces and technical conflicts. \nEnsure design compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards. \nCost, Schedule & Risk Control\nMonitor project budget, schedule and performance indicators. \nApprove mitigation measures and recovery strategies. \nLead project risk management and change control processes. \nStakeholder Engagement\nLead engagement with the Client, EPC Contractors, OEMs, statutory authorities and end users. \nFacilitate timely resolution of critical issues, disputes and inter-package conflicts. \nCommissioning & Handover\nOversee testing, commissioning, operational readiness and final handover. \nEnsure completion of punch lists, approvals and project closeout requirements. \nDecision Node\nPrimary execution authority for PMC services. \nEscalation authority for cross-functional issues. \nApproval authority for recovery strategies and corrective actions. \nExperience & Qualification\nBachelor’s degree in engineering; Masters preferred. \nMinimum 20 years of project management experience with large industrial, aerospace, aviation, defence or manufacturing projects. \nMinimum 10 years in leadership roles managing multidisciplinary teams. \nPMP or equivalent certification preferred. \nDemonstrated experience delivering projects from design through commissioning and handover. \n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
