The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and management of civil infrastructure projects, particularly in sectors such as water supply, drainage, and/or water & wastewater treatment plants. This role demands a professional who is adept at overseeing complex design processes, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nProject & Design Leadership in Water Infrastructure:\nLead the design process for civil infrastructure projects, focusing on water projects, from project planning to execution and closure.\nMultidisciplinary Team Coordination:\nManage and inspire multidisciplinary design teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.\nCoordinate with various EC offices for Multidisciplinary and/or Multicenter projects\nDesign Process Management\nOversee the design stages from concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Monitor the progress of design work, conduct regular review meetings to assess design progress and make necessary adjustments. Identify potential risks in the design phase and develop effective mitigation strategies\nImplement and maintain high standards of design quality, ensuring compliance with AECOM’s quality principles, industry regulations and client specifications.\nBudget and Resource Optimization:\nManage design budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and identifying opportunities for savings. Optimize the allocation of design resources to maximize efficiency and project success.\nProject Documentation and Reporting:\nMaintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.\nPrepare and present regular project reports to internal teams and stakeholders for informed decision-making.\nAdapt to the AECOM Project Delivery Procedures and standards.\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.\n15 t0 20 years of experience.
