Join us.\n We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead our stormwater management initiatives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery for stormwater infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a professional who can make decisive decisions, manage complex timelines, and maintain meticulous project documentation.\nOversee end-to-end project lifecycle management for stormwater infrastructure projects, from planning through completion\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, consultants, and government agencies to ensure seamless project execution\nManage project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial accountability\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans to address potential challenges\nPrepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and technical specifications\nConduct regular stakeholder meetings and provide progress updates to senior management and clients\nEnsure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols specific to UAE projects\nManage contracts and vendor relationships to optimize project delivery and resource allocation\nMonitor project quality standards and implement quality assurance procedures throughout all project phases\n Minimum 10 years of professional project management experience, with at least 5 years in stormwater or civil infrastructure projects\nProven experience as a Project Management Consultant (PMC) or in a similar project oversight capacity\nStrong knowledge of stormwater management systems, drainage infrastructure, and civil engineering principles\nDemonstrated expertise in budget management, cost estimation, and financial forecasting\nProficiency in project management tools and software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent)\nExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail\nExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills\nExperience working on projects in the United Arab Emirates or Middle East region is highly desirable\nFamiliarity with UAE building codes, environmental regulations, and local compliance requirements\nProject Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is preferred\nKnowledge of AutoCAD or other design software is advantageous\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing project requirements\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
