This role involves providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle from option studies, option development, and construction tender support through to NEC contract administration and on-site delivery.\nSupport Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.\nParticipation in appropriate meetings including minuting and proactively engaging in discussions, contributing to the PEP, collating progress reports, assisting with procurement strategies and tender documentation, general post contract management and administration\nProactively engaging with Client, contractor and other stakeholders, being aware of the scope of service and ensuring we deliver within the agreed parameters and help to resolve disputes whenever possible.\nClient-side project management, including stakeholder, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management\nSupport projects and commissions are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for quality, cost, and time\nSupport and manage the project team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting the client and business requirements\nManage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.\nDevelop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional team\nSupport business development opportunities with existing and new clients\nProvide support on contract management services on NEC4 contracts, administering through a contract management system. \nAdvise the client on procurement strategies and review tender documentation. \nProvide effective support and mentoring to Graduates and Apprentices. \nIf you're passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you. Why not give our AECOM page on LinkedIn a follow to stay updated on the impactful projects we're working on and see firsthand the difference we're making in the industry!\n Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?\nHere’s what we’re looking for:\nInfrastructure project management experience (Water industry experience essential)\nKnowledge and understanding of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) ideally working towards NEC ECC Accreditation\nExperience of working as part of an integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams\nGood communication and organisational skills\nRelationship building skills -ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders as well as an ability to build and maintain networks of business contacts.\nAble to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with the Senior Project Managers and Associates in the delivery of some of our projects.\nA team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible \nExcellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize current digital tools.\nExcellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage relationships both internally and externally.\nKeen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.\nEngenders a right first-time approach.\nSupporter of social and CSR activities, promoting a positive and enjoyable workplace.\nEducation, Professional Qualifications Requirements\nThe individuals proposed for the role will ideally demonstrate the following:\nA minimum 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a consulting environment providing a full spectrum of PM services including chairing meetings, minuting or proactively engaging in discussions, developing the PEP, progress reports, and tender documentation. General post contract management and administration, proactively engaging with relevant stakeholders, being aware of the scope of service and ensuring we deliver within the agreed parameters. \nA relevant degree such as in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction, or relevant subject.\nUnderstanding and use of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) \nA project management qualification such as the APM PMQ or PRINCE2 would be desirable.\nAn associate member of a related professional body preferably chartered (APM, CIOB) would be desirable.\nYou may be required to undertake and successfully complete security screening checks.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
