Grow here. \nAt AECOM we are currently recruiting for a Project Manager:Civil Infrastructure join us at our Dublin office.\nThis role is primarily site-based, with attendance on site required four days per week and one day per week available for remote working.\nWe are seeking a Project Manager:Civil Infrastructure with 7+ years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle. Working within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, you will provide strategic leadership, oversee multidisciplinary project teams, and lead the successful delivery of high-profile developments from project inception through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.\nIn this role, you will play a key leadership role in delivering a major, multi-year capital investment programme transforming a nationally significant infrastructure asset.\nWe encourage applications from candidates with:\nExtensive experience working with the NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor, or consultancy environment.\nProven experience delivering projects within the aviation sector or other operationally complex, live infrastructure environments.\nDemonstrated success delivering major capital infrastructure programmes with responsibility for cost, schedule, risk, governance, and stakeholder management.\nExperience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring Project Managers.\nStrong client-facing, commercial, and leadership skills with experience managing senior stakeholder relationships.\nHere’s what you’ll do: \nProgramme Requirements, Standards & Performance\nOversee and monitor project delivery, ensuring effective management of schedule, interfaces, costs, variations, contracts, and risks, while coordinating with relevant stakeholders and functions as required.\nDevelop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with the Contracting Entity’s standards, methodologies, and strategic objectives.\nManage and maintain the project relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager and other key stakeholders.\nEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed performance, quality, safety, and governance requirements.Team Management\n\nLead and manage a team of Project Managers responsible for the successful delivery of individual projects within the programme.\nProvide direction, oversight, and support to ensure appropriate project management processes, controls, and performance measures are implemented and maintained.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive resource plans to support the effective delivery of all projects under the Senior Project Manager’s remit.\nProvide technical, commercial, and contractual guidance to Project Managers in the execution of their responsibilities.\nMonitor, review, and report on project and team performance, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.\nCollaborate with the Programme Director and wider programme team to resolve challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.Project Management Activities\n\nLead the overall coordination and integration of projects, ensuring interfaces and dependencies are identified and managed throughout the project lifecycle.\nMaintain and manage the Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) matrix and associated governance frameworks.\nCoordinate and oversee the activities of design consultants, technical teams, contractors, and other external service providers.\nChair and facilitate design review meetings, ensuring timely design approvals and communication of design acceptance to contractors.\nManage the communication and implementation of design changes, ensuring all affected stakeholders are informed and engaged.\nPrepare and deliver regular project performance reports covering progress, key milestones, risks, issues, and construction activities.\nMaintain the project risk register, ensuring risks are actively managed, reviewed, and reported through regular progress meetings.\nDrive continuous improvement in project management processes, procedures, templates, and reporting tools.\nImplement and monitor performance management and project control measures.\nManage the project change control process and ensure appropriate governance and approvals are maintained.\nOversee the effective flow of information between the project team, client, and stakeholders through structured meetings, reporting, and communications.\n Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?\nHere’s what we’re looking for: \nAs the successful candidate you will have experience working within our primary infrastructure markets along with having the following qualfications and experience.\nA minimum of 7 years’ experience within the construction and infrastructure sector, including the successful delivery of aviation and/or other major projects of comparable scale, complexity, and operational criticality.\nDemonstrated understanding of working within live operational airport environments, with a strong appreciation of the associated safety, operational, and stakeholder management requirements.\nProven experience managing and overseeing project delivery on-site, with a hands-on approach to construction and infrastructure project execution.\nExtensive experience in developing, documenting, and implementing construction project management frameworks, policies, procedures, and best-practice standards.\nStrong track record of delivering major construction and asset delivery projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\nExperience acting in a client-side project management role, representing the interests of the contracting entity throughout the project lifecycle.\nProven ability to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders at all organisational levels, driving process improvements, governance enhancements, and best-practice project delivery outcomes.\nPrevious experience using the NEC Suite of contracts as a client, contractor or subcontractor.\nPrevious experience in an Aviation setting or similarly
