Join us.\n QA/QC Engineer - Infrastructure & Bridges\nWe are looking for a QA/QC Engineer - Infrastructure & Bridges to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring quality control activities for infrastructure and bridge works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project quality requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMonitor quality control activities for infrastructure and bridge construction works.\nReview and implement the approved Project Quality Plan, ITPs, method statements, specifications, and quality procedures.\nReview Contractor QA/QC submissions, including Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements, material submittals, and inspection procedures.\nMonitor bridge works including piling, foundations, pile caps, abutments, piers, retaining walls, decks, concrete, reinforcement, bearings, expansion joints, and barriers.\nMonitor infrastructure works including earthworks, roads, drainage, wet utilities, dry utilities, kerbs, paving, and associated works.\nReview Inspection Requests (IRs), material approvals, test reports, material certificates, and quality records.\nCoordinate and monitor inspections, laboratory testing, and field testing in accordance with approved ITPs.\nMonitor concrete works including reinforcement, formwork, concrete placement, curing, and testing.\nIdentify non-conforming works and coordinate the required corrective actions.\nRaise and follow up on NCRs, observations, corrective actions, and preventive actions.\nConduct quality inspections and audits of Contractor activities and construction processes.\nMaintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test results, and project documentation.\nCoordinate with the Resident Engineer, Inspectors, Contractor QA/QC team, laboratory, and other disciplines to resolve quality issues.\nMonitor the quality of completed works and support final inspections, handover, and closeout activities.\nParticipate in quality meetings and provide updates on quality performance and outstanding issues.\n Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 7+ years of relevant QA/QC experience on major infrastructure and bridge projects.\nGood knowledge of construction quality management systems, ITPs, method statements, inspection procedures, and applicable standards.\nExperience in bridge construction, concrete works, reinforcement, piling, foundations, earthworks, roads, drainage, and utilities.\nExperience in reviewing NCRs, corrective actions, inspection records, test reports, and material documentation.\nStrong understanding of quality control and construction inspection procedures.\nGood communication and coordination skills.\nUAE experience on major infrastructure projects is preferred.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
