We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our project team and support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
- Review and evaluate interim payment applications and contractor claims.
- Assess variations, change orders, and associated cost impacts.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, measurements, and cost estimates.
- Monitor contractual and commercial matters in accordance with the contract.
- Review and assess Extension of Time (EOT) and associated cost implications.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, payments, and commercial correspondence.
- Support the preparation of commercial reports and cost forecasts.
- Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, Contractor, and project team on commercial matters.
- Identify potential commercial risks and provide recommendations to the project management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in infrastructure and construction projects.
- Good knowledge of FIDIC and construction contract administration.
- Strong experience in variations, claims, payments, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team
