Join us.\n AECOM Spain is looking to hire a Rail Project Manager to join our Transportation team in Madrid.\nAs Rail Project Manager you will lead multidisciplinary rail assignments, work closely with clients and technical specialists, and contribute to the continued growth of our Rail Project Management team.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead medium to large-scale rail projects both in Spain and international markets.\nTake ownership of scope, program, cost, quality, risk and commercial performance.\nDevelop and implement effective project execution plans.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams across different disciplines, offices and countries.\nBuild trusted relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.\nMonitor financial performance, including revenue, margin and profitability.\nAnticipate project risks, manage change and contractual exposure, and implement mitigation measures.\nEstablish meaningful KPIs and provide clear progress reporting.\nSupport the planning and coordination of technical and design activities.\nGuide other Project Managers responsible for projects or work packages.\nWhy join us?\nYou will have the opportunity to lead challenging rail projects, collaborate with recognized technical specialists and work with clients across national and international markets.\nYou will take real ownership of project delivery while developing your leadership, commercial and client-management capabilities, and helping shape the future of Rail Project Management within AECOM Spain.\nReady for your next challenge? Apply now and help us shape the future of rail infrastructure.\n What we’re looking for\nA degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.\nSignificant experience, ideally at least 10 years, in project management.\nProfessional fluency in English and Spanish.\nA proven track record delivering multimillion-euro rail or major rail infrastructure projects.\nStrong knowledge of project controls, risk, change and commercial management.\nThe ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex interfaces.\nExcellent communication, client and stakeholder-management skills.\nExperience we would also value\nExperience in Design & Build contracts.\nAn additional European language.\nA track record of identifying opportunities and supporting business growth.\nExperience coaching or developing other project professionals.\nYou do not need to meet every requirement to apply.
