Join us.\n Job Summary\nThe Resident Engineer (LV) is responsible for providing site-based engineering supervision and technical oversight of Low Voltage (LV) electrical works within large and complex building projects in an international airport environment. The role ensures that LV installations comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. The Resident Engineer coordinates with the client, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and successful delivery of LV systems, preferably within airport cargo facilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide site-based supervision of LV electrical works, including power distribution, lighting, small power, and associated electrical installations.\nMonitor LV construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.\nReview LV shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals, and inspection requests.\nCoordinate LV installation activities with MEP, architectural, structural, ICT, security, and other project disciplines.\nMonitor installation quality, construction progress, testing, commissioning, and system integration.\nIdentify technical issues, design discrepancies, and interface conflicts and coordinate their resolution.\nEnsure compliance with project quality, health and safety, airport security, and operational requirements.\nCoordinate with the client, contractors, consultants, and airport authorities on LV-related technical matters.\nReview inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.\nMonitor testing and commissioning activities and verify completion of required documentation.\nPrepare site inspection reports, progress updates, and technical records.\nSupport project meetings, risk management, practical completion, and final handover activities.\n Recognized Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.\nMembership of APM or another recognized project management institution.\nMinimum 15 years of professional experience in large or complex building projects, preferably including cargo facilities.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in major international airport projects, preferably involving cargo terminals.\nProven experience in LV electrical engineering, construction supervision, and resident engineering.\nStrong knowledge of LV distribution systems, lighting, small power, electrical installation standards, testing, and commissioning.\nExperience reviewing technical submissions, shop drawings, inspection requests, and quality documentation.\nExcellent leadership, coordination, communication, and technical reporting skills.\nKnowledge of airport safety, security, and operational requirements.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
