Join us.\n AECOM is seeking a Senior Construction Project Engineer to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on-site at Pituffik Space Base in Greenland. Candidates will have more than 10 years of experience as construction project inspectors on large, complex, multi-million-dollar Department of Defense (DoD) projects, including dormitories, airfields, shoreline restoration, and similar infrastructure. Strong experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical construction disciplines is highly desirable.\nKey responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting plans and specifications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and constructability. The role will primarily involve field inspection and reporting. Candidates must be able to interact professionally with clients and contractors, demonstrating excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a polished presentation.\nThis person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:\nProvide oversight of contractor compliance with contract requirements and standards in accordance with the USACE 3-Phase inspection program, including evaluation of inspection levels, testing procedures, and deficiency correction documentation.\nComplete and maintain comprehensive field records, including daily reports documenting work performed, field measurements, computations, and observations.\nParticipate in technical review of submittals and development plans to ensure conformity to USACE standards and specifications.\nDocument construction observations and issue discrepancy notices for non-compliant items.\nAttend and participate in construction progress meetings and contractor weekly project meetings.\nPerform infrastructure walkthroughs and develop punch lists as required.\nProvide construction photographs to document progress and problem areas.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations, USACE requirements, and building codes during construction of utility equipment.\nParticipate in tests, demonstrations, and field instructions with appropriate personnel.\nResolve conflicts related to construction installation.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with RMS.\n Minimum Requirements\nHS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education\nUS Citizen\nCondition of employment candidates must pass substance abuse test\nPreferred Requirements\n10 years of experience as a construction project inspector on large complex multimillion dollar DoD construction projects.\nKnowledge of the USACE Three Phase Inspection Process.\nKnowledge of EM 385-1 Safety Requirements.\nCQM Certification.\nRetired Military.\n This assignment will be located in Pituffik Space Base in Greenland.
