Join us.\n AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ONSITE Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team in Coral Gables, FL. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nSupports overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. \nProvide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. \nPosition may have significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.\nPlans, organizes, coordinates, and reports the project management activities of multiple projects with regard to educational facilities.\nResponsible for management of multiple projects in varying phases of design/construction.\nCoordinates all aspects of project activities with Capital Improvements staff, other M-DCPS departments, school staff, and other administrative personnel. \nMay interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.\nAssists with and monitors change orders.\nMay assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting.\nReview project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.\nWork with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.\nAttend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBA/BS + 6 Years of relevant experience in educational facility construction, project coordination of commercial and/or public facilities experience or relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nMust pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check.\nMust pass a pre-employment drug screen.\nMust pass the Miami Dade County fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check.\nStrong management and communications skills and negotiation skills required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrefer bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or other related field.
