Join us.\n We are seeking a Senior Engineer-HVAC(MEP) to join our Building Engineering team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful B+P projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.\nHere is what you will do:\nPerforms quality control review of design calculations or drawings\nPrepares technical specification sections\nProvides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements\nLeads HVAC system design for complex commercial, residential, and data center projects\nConducts energy modeling and analysis to optimize HVAC system performance\nCollaborates with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions\nDevelops and implements sustainable design strategies to meet energy efficiency goals\nOversees the selection and sizing of HVAC equipment and components\nEnsures compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and other relevant regulations\nMentors junior engineers and provides technical guidance to the HVAC design team\nParticipates in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions\nConducts site visits to assess existing conditions and verify installation of HVAC systems\n The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:\nMaster of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. \nRelevant 6 to 8 years of experience. Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.\nShould be well versed with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards and regulations.\nShould have experience in commercial, residential, datacenter, and infrastructure projects from different geographies - USA, Canada, ANZ Region.\nExperienced Senior Mechanical Engineer - Specialized in HVAC Design.\nProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferred.\nProficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar BIM tools.\nStrong knowledge of energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES-VE).\n At AECOM, our Freedom to Grow philosophy supports flexibility and balance to help our people thrive.
