Join us.\n Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.\nGathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.\nWorks on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.\nProposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.\nIdentifies discrepancies in results and recommends corrective actions.\nProvides guidance and mentorship to entry level engineers on technical concepts and best practices.\nPerforms work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.\nIndependently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.\nDevelops and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and system analyses.\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams including project managers, quality assurance specialists, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met.\nConducts quality assurance reviews and oversees testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.\nTroubleshoots complex instrumentation and control system issues, implementing solutions that optimize system performance and reliability.\nParticipates in design reviews and provides technical recommendations to improve system efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.\nPerformance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.\n **Required Qualifications:**\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related engineering discipline\nMinimum 5-7 years of professional engineering experience in instrumentation and control systems design, implementation, or maintenance\nDemonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing complex ICT and instrumentation systems\nStrong proficiency in developing technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and system analyses\nSolid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements applicable to instrumentation and control systems\nProven ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering assignments within budget and schedule constraints\nExperience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior engineers\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams\nProficiency in engineering design tools and software relevant to instrumentation and controls\n**Preferred Qualifications:**\nMaster's degree in Engineering or related field\nProfessional Engineering (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification\nExperience with design review processes and quality assurance protocols\nFamiliarity with project management methodologies\nKnowledge of automation and control system platforms\nExperience in a regulated industry environment\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
