Join us.\n We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Planning to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of complex building projects, ensuring their successful and timely completion.\nUnderstanding work scope, quantity, and being familiar with the logical sequencing of construction disciplines;\nProviding detailed review, analysis, and monitoring of the procurement and construction programmes with Critical Path Method analysis of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Utilities\nWorking closely on a day to day basis with the planners of the contractor to monitor and/or amend the Contractor’s baseline programme of Work\nProviding progress reports, graphs and critical path analysis for the monthly and weekly progress reports to the Project Management Consultant (PMC)\nReporting to the Project Lead any risks, opportunities and any mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date\nReviewing actual progress against the construction programme and preparing and reporting to the Project Lead accordingly\nAdvising the Project Lead of any early warnings in regard to potential delay events\nAttending site and convening workshops with the site supervision team as necessary to get snapshots in time and keeping an update on actual progress on site\nConducting independent site visits to evaluate the contractor’s site progress against his programme and reporting to the Project Lead accordingly\nProviding support to the Cost Control Team in understanding the programme risks and opportunities of potential additional works and variation proposals\nMaintaining records of monitoring of the programme to enable input and support to the Project Lead and Cost Control Team to evaluate any related Contractor claims and variations as considered necessary\nProviding assistance to the PMC during negotiations, arbitration, or any other forms of dispute resolution\nReview claims (Time Impact Analysis / Window/APAB), defense, and review of particulars and chronology of events\nInvestigate potential delay events and determine the presence of concurrent delay\nReview and prepare prospective and retrospective delay analysis\nPresent & discuss EoT claims with knowledge of contract mechanisms undefined\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\nMinimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for building projects.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
