Senior Engineer-Transport Planning
AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Senior Engineer - Transport Planning to join our team in Bengaluru/Gurugram.

Key Responsibilities
- Being accountable for traffic engineering and transport planning, modelling delivery and verification on a range of transport projects
- Mentor, guide teams to achieve technical requirements and deliver the projects.
- Good hands-on experience of Strategic modelling software SATURN, DIADEM
- Experience in SATURN network development, Model Calibration and Validation, Demand forecasting and Matrix Estimation.
- Familiarity with UK/US/ANZ/Middle East transport modelling guidance - (e.g., NPPF, DfT Guidance, Local Plans).
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Liaise with clients and AECOM’s global project teams to ensure technical excellence and timely delivery.
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Transport Planning/Engineering, or related subjects)
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in transport planning and modelling.
- Strong proficiency inSATURN, ArcGIS, TEMPro, DIADEM
- Experience in data processing, automation, and scripting (Python / R) desirable.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and writing report skills.
- Working toward chartered status (ICE / CIHT / TPS) preferred.
