Join us.\n Here is what you will be doing:\nWorks under broad supervision.\nMay take on several components of a project. \nProvides direction for team members. \nPlans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies. \nTroubleshoots problems of medium complexity and recommends appropriate action. \nParticipates with other team members to achieve common goals.\nTakes ownership of standard ICT design packages with minimal supervision\nPerforms routine coordination directly with architects and engineers\nConducts site inspections independently on small to medium projects\nResolves common technical issues without escalation\nBegins contributing to project planning and design decisions\nProvides informal guidance to Candidate ICT Specialists when needed\nManages defined tasks within a project but not the full project\nInterprets and applies standards but does not create or modify them\nWorks under direct supervision on routine tasks as per established procedures.\nWorks with other team members and/or end-users to troubleshoot basic problems.\nDesign and develop ICT systems, including network infrastructure, building management systems, CCTV, access control, and security systems\nCreate detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation\nCoordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of ICT systems\nConduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and constraints\nOversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ICT systems\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing systems\nStay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends in ICT systems\nDesign and support:Structured cabling systems\nFibre optic networks\nLAN/WAN infrastructure\nWi-Fi networks\nData centre and communications rooms\nCCTV systems\nAccess control systems\nIntruder detection systems\nPublic address and voice evacuation systems\nIntercom systems\nBuilding management system (BMS) interfaces\n\n Here is what we are looking for:\nGrade 12 from an accredited education facility\nCertifications and/or Registrations associated with ICT Design\nOver 8 years experience in ICT engineering design within the built environment\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
