As part of one of the UK&I’s largest and most diverse landscape practices, you will undertake high-profile regional and global projects across various sectors including energy transition, urban regeneration, environmental enhancement, and aviation projects. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, this position is ideal for a self-motivated individual seeking to advance their career in a dynamic and experienced team.\nAbout AECOM’s Landscape Architecture Team\nOur UK&I Landscape Architecture team is renowned for delivery excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration. We work across all design stages, blending strengths in design, planning and management to create imaginative solutions that enhance communities and environments. Recent projects include energy transition (wind, solar, hydrogen, nuclear, storage and energy transmission), infrastructure, and new neighbourhoods that shape cities and regions.\nJob Responsibilities\nProject Involvement:\nDevelop the delivery of landscape design and planning projects.\nUndertake site survey and analysis, using innovative processes.\nContribute to meetings and workshops, representing AECOM’s technical excellence.\nAssist leads with project management, including financial and programme responsibilities.\nTeam Development:\nShare knowledge and support culture of continuous growth and development.\nMentor and develop junior staff, including as a professional mentor.\nClient Engagement:\nAssist with development of strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and collaborators.\nFacilitate proactive client engagement and business development.\nTechnical Excellence:\nProduce and/or oversee the production of reports, drawings, and other technical documentation with the necessary level of detail for the various stages of development, using appropriate software.\nPrepare and develop designs through all stages of development from initial feasibility through to production of construction information.\nSupport and undertake contract administration (e.g., JCLI) to ensure high-quality project delivery.\nCollaboration:\nWork iteratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions.\n Minimum Requirements\nExperience:\nChartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).\nExperience of preparing LVIAs and TVIAs and evidence-base documents in accordance with best practice.\nExperience of designing public realm schemes and complex multi-disciplinary projects.\nKnowledge and understanding of the UK planning system.\nKnowledge of project management, including financial control, reporting, and programme management.\nTechnical Skills:\nProficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience with Revit and/or Civil 3D is highly desirable.\nSkilled in preparing clear graphics, technical reports, and construction documentation.\nStrong communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDegree or post graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture.\nChartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).\n Other:\nFull UK driving licence required to get to remote sites.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
