Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones, EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise, accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry.\nWith a team of over 3000 technical professionals located across nine countries and remote technical anchors, EC teams are trusted to deliver high-quality, specialist services that help to fill capability gaps, resourcing needs and technical constraints on projects of all scopes and size\n Lead mechanical engineering design packages for underground mining, materials handling and fixed-plant projects.\n\nUndertake conveyor design and analysis using recognised software such as Sidewinder or Belt Analyst, including sizing, power calculations, dynamic assessment and design optimisation. Apply bulk-solids handling principles to bins, chutes, feeders, transfer stations and ore-handling systems to support reliable operation and maintainability.\n\nPrepare calculations, equipment specifications, datasheets, scopes of work, technical evaluations and design reports. Lead the design and integration of crushing, screening, conveying, pumping, dewatering, dust-management and ventilation-related systems.\n\nDevelop practical dust-suppression, extraction and containment solutions for abrasive, high-throughput materials-handling environments. Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, process, controls, ventilation and geotechnical interfaces.\n\nLead or contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, constructability reviews and design verification.
