Join us.\n Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure projects, specializing in pump stations, lifting stations, drainage systems, and associated mechanical works.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervise and manage mechanical works for pump stations, lifting stations, drainage facilities, and infrastructure projects.\nOversee installation of pumps, valves, pipework, mechanical equipment, actuators, penstocks, screens, and associated systems.\nReview shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and technical submissions.\nCoordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA systems.\nSupervise testing, commissioning, performance testing, and final acceptance of mechanical systems.\nCoordinate with contractors, suppliers, designers, and stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues.\nEnsure mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable standards.\nSupport handover and closeout, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, testing records, and asset documentation.\n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.\n10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical infrastructure projects.\nStrong experience in pump stations and lifting stations.\nExperience with pumps, valves, pipework, mechanical equipment, and associated systems.\nStrong knowledge of installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.\nExperience working with infrastructure contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.\nGood knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, technical documentation, and construction procedures.\nExcellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nUAE/GCC infrastructure experience is preferred.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
