Join us.\n We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to support our infrastructure and marine works projects in Abu Dhabi.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, review, and monitor baseline, detailed, recovery, and updated project programmes for infrastructure and marine works.\nReview Contractor programmes and ensure activities, logic, durations, resources, and project interfaces are properly reflected.\nMonitor planned versus actual progress and identify delays, critical activities, and programme risks.\nPrepare and review weekly, monthly, and look-ahead programmes and progress reports.\nAnalyse the critical path and provide recommendations for mitigation and recovery measures.\nReview Contractor progress updates and verify reported progress against actual site activities.\nCoordinate with engineering, construction, commercial, and site teams to ensure accurate progress reporting.\nMonitor infrastructure activities including roads, utilities, earthworks, structures, and associated works.\nMonitor marine activities including reclamation, dredging, rock placement, marine edge protection, revetments, and marine structures.\nMonitor key milestones, design submissions, approvals, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.\nReview delay events, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, delay analysis, and Time Impact Analysis where required.\nAttend progress and coordination meetings and provide planning updates.\nSupport the Project Manager in identifying programme risks and developing mitigation and recovery measures.\nReview Contractor resource requirements and productivity against the approved programme.\nMaintain accurate planning records and ensure programme updates are supported by reliable site information.\n Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.\nRelevant experience in planning and project controls for major infrastructure and marine works.\nStrong experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.\nGood knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, progress measurement, critical path analysis, and delay analysis.\nExperience in reviewing EOT submissions, delay analysis, and Time Impact Analysis.\nGood understanding of infrastructure and marine construction activities, sequencing, and project interfaces.\nUAE experience on major infrastructure and marine projects is preferred.\nStrong analytical, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
