Join us.\n The Planning Engineer shall be responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of stormwater, drainage, pumping station, utility diversion, and associated infrastructure works. The role supports project controls, progress monitoring, reporting, delay analysis, risk management, and coordination with Dubai Municipality, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.\nDevelop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.\nPrepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, revised schedules, and look-ahead programs.\nMonitor project progress and identify schedule variances, delays, and potential risks.\nCollect, analyze, and update planning data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.\nDevelop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for project activities.\nPerform schedule impact assessments and support Extension of Time (EOT) evaluations.\nAssist in progress measurement and earned value analysis.\nMonitor engineering, procurement, and construction activities against approved schedules.\nReview contractor schedules and assess compliance with contractual requirements.\nSupport scope control, change management, and schedule baseline maintenance.\nCoordinate with Resident Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, and stakeholders regarding project progress and planning issues.\nPrepare manpower histograms, resource allocation reports, productivity analyses, and cash flow forecasts.\nTrack critical path activities and recommend corrective actions to maintain project milestones.\nAssist in risk identification, mitigation planning, and schedule recovery strategies.\nEnsure compliance with Dubai Municipality requirements, project specifications, and contract conditions.\n Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline from a recognized university.\nMinimum 5-10 years of experience in planning and scheduling infrastructure projects.\nExperience in stormwater, drainage, sewerage, pumping stations, utility networks, roads, or related infrastructure projects is preferred.\nProficient in Primavera P6.\nFamiliarity with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques.\nStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.\nKnowledge of project controls, cost control, progress measurement, and reporting systems.\nExperience in schedule development, baseline preparation, and schedule updates.\nUnderstanding of scope management, change management, and earned value methodology.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and reporting skills in English.\n Previous experience on Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, TAQA, ADNOC, or other major infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract.\nPMP certification or equivalent project management certification.\nExperience in stormwater rehabilitation, sewer networks, NDRC/microtunneling, or pumping station projects.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
