Why not give our AECOM page on LinkedIn a follow to stay updated on the impactful projects we're working on and see firsthand the difference we're making in the industry!\nKey responsibilities of the role:\nProvide procurement advice including understanding client drivers and project success factors, to then lead them through the process of designing the optimum delivery model, contract strategy, commercial model and route to market for their project.\nManage the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender document development, tender management, evaluation, and negotiation.\nProvide advice on commercial aspects, category management and performance management. \nSupport work winning activity including contributing to proposal documentation.\nSupport the development of AECOM’s overall strategic procurement service offering\n Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?\nHere’s what we’re looking for:\nSignificant post-qualification knowledge and experience (7+ years) leading the procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.\nExperience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management and supplier engagement.\nProven project / programme management experience including ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.\nAwareness of a range of standard form contracts including NEC.\nPossess strong people skills and be an effective communicator, able to influence, challenge and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.\nExperience in category management and contract management, including advising on Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.\nAwareness of procuring under the Public Contract Regulations or equivalent.\nPassionate about individual, team and client success. \n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
