Join us.\n The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and client satisfaction. This role involves project planning, risk management, and directing project teams. The ideal candidate will also possess a background in design management to effectively coordinate and manage design processes within infrastructure projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Management:Manage and execute infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.\nDevelop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress.\n\nClient Relations:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and drive revenue growth.\nCommunicate project updates, milestones, and changes to clients in a timely manner.\n\nRisk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address them.\nMonitor and manage project risks and uncertainties to ensure project stability and success.\nImplement strategies to minimize exposure to claims and legal issues.\n\nTeam Leadership:Supervise and direct project teams, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution.\nFoster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.\n\nDesign Management:Oversee and coordinate design management processes within infrastructure projects.\nEnsure design deliverables meet project requirements, standards, and client expectations.\nManage design changes, approvals, and quality assurance in collaboration with design teams.\n\nOperational Excellence:Develop and implement project management best practices and standard operating procedures.\nMonitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.\nConduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.\n\nMinimum Experience\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.\nMinimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure project management.\nProven track record of managing medium to large-scale infrastructure projects.\nExperience in design management within infrastructure projects is highly desirable.\nExperience with Abu Dhabi government entities \nSkills and Competencies\nStrong leadership and team management skills.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.\nProficiency in project management software and tools.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of standard consultancy agreements used in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.\nKnowledge of standard D&B contracts used on Abu Dhabi and the UAE is preferred.\nUnderstanding risk management and claims avoidance in the contexts of consultancy agreements and D&B contracts.\nPersonal Attributes:\nDetail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.\nAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.\nProactive and strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.\nCollaborative and team-oriented with a strong client focus.\nOther Requirements\nWillingness to travel to project sites within the UAE as required.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
