Join us.\n We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead stormwater infrastructure projects as part of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex stormwater management initiatives from conception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, analytical expertise, and a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects in dynamic environments.\nDirect and oversee all phases of stormwater management projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress against established baselines and implement corrective actions as needed\nManage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants; provide mentorship and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders\nAnalyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and quality issues\nAdminister contracts with vendors, contractors, and consultants; ensure compliance with terms and conditions\nConduct regular site inspections and quality assurance reviews to verify adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements\nPrepare and present detailed project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to senior management and clients\nCoordinate with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental standards\nManage project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to optimize resource allocation\nIdentify and resolve project issues promptly; escalate critical concerns to senior leadership when necessary\nFoster collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success\n Minimum 15 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role\nProven expertise in stormwater management, drainage systems, or related infrastructure projects\nDemonstrated experience working as a Project Management Consultant (PMC) on large-scale municipal or infrastructure projects\nStrong proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent)\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects\nExceptional organizational and time management abilities\nAdvanced knowledge of contract administration, procurement processes, and vendor management\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor diverse teams\nProficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and cost control\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment\nPreferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential\nPreferred: Prior experience with infrastructure projects in the UAE or Middle East region\nPreferred: Familiarity with local Abu Dhabi building codes, regulations, and municipal requirements\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
