Join us.\n We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in quantity surveying, cost management, and project delivery to drive successful project outcomes. As a senior professional, you will work independently on complex assignments while providing strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Your analytical mindset, combined with your collaborative approach, will be instrumental in ensuring accurate cost estimation, efficient resource allocation, and transparent project communication across all stakeholders.\nConduct comprehensive surveys and measurements to ascertain the locations of natural features and human-made structures on the earth's surface, underground, and underwater, utilizing advanced electronic distance-measuring equipment and surveying instruments\nOperate and manage land-information computer systems, performing critical tasks such as data storage, system inquiries, and generation of detailed plots and reports\nReview and analyze information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances, directions, angles between points, and elevation data to ensure accuracy and completeness\nResearch legal records and historical boundary documentation to identify evidence of previous boundaries and determine precise location of boundary lines\nRecord survey results with meticulous attention to detail, verify data accuracy, and prepare comprehensive plots, maps, and technical reports for stakeholder review\nPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and budget forecasts for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project scope and client requirements\nManage procurement processes, analyze tender documents, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize project value\nMentor and supervise junior quantity surveyors and survey technicians, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development\nCollaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve discrepancies, manage variations, and maintain transparent communication throughout project lifecycle\nAnalyze project performance data and prepare insightful reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives\nStay current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in quantity surveying and construction management\n Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or related construction disciplines\nProven experience with RTA (Roads and Transportation Authority) projects in the Middle East region\nPrior RTA Approval or equivalent professional recognition (preferred)\nAdvanced proficiency with quantity surveying software, CAD applications, and land-information management systems\nStrong knowledge of construction cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting methodologies\nComprehensive understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial management\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work on complex, multi-faceted projects\nOutstanding communication and negotiation abilities, with proven capability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively\nDemonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor, supervise, and develop junior team members\nStrong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools\nFull professional understanding of quantity surveying specialization with ability to provide expert guidance on diverse project scopes\nBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)\nProfessional certification or membership with recognized quantity surveying bodies (preferred)\nFamiliarity with Saudi Arabian construction standards, regulations, and local market practices (preferred)\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
