Join us.\n We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cost control, contractual matters, quantity verification, payment assessments, and commercial administration for infrastructure construction works.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview and verify quantities, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and Contractor payment applications.\nReview Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), variation orders, and claims in accordance with the Contract.\nMonitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure and identify potential cost impacts.\nReview and assess variation orders, including quantities, rates, supporting documents, and cost breakdowns.\nEvaluate Contractor claims, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, and other contractual matters in coordination with the project team.\nVerify quantities for roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, electrical, telecom, and other infrastructure works.\nReview rate build-ups, quotations, and cost estimates submitted by the Contractor.\nMonitor changes to the scope of work and assess their commercial and contractual implications.\nMaintain records of payments, variations, claims, and other commercial matters.\nPrepare cost reports, commercial updates, and supporting documentation for project management.\nCoordinate with the Resident Engineer, Project Manager, planning team, and Contractor to resolve commercial and contractual issues.\nSupport the preparation and review of final accounts and project closeout documentation.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.\nRelevant experience in quantity surveying and commercial management for major infrastructure projects.\nGood knowledge of construction contracts, BOQs, payment assessments, variations, claims, and cost control.\nExperience in quantity verification, rate analysis, cost estimates, and commercial evaluations.\nAbility to review contractual documents, drawings, specifications, and payment submissions.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying and cost management tools.\nStrong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.\nUAE experience on major infrastructure projects is preferred.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
