Join us.\n AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Engineer in Tallahassee, Florida. This position will be involved with mid-to-large scale transportation complete streets and multimodal projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as Lead Engineer and Engineer of Record for mid- to large-scale transportation, Complete Streets, roadway, and multimodal infrastructure projects, overseeing project delivery from planning and design through construction and digital delivery.\nProvide specialized technical expertise in Complete Streets design, roadway engineering, transportation BIM, 3D modeling, and digital delivery, while developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.\nPerform quality control reviews, approve technical work products, and sign and seal engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with agency standards and project quality requirements.\nPresent technical recommendations and project solutions to clients, agencies, stakeholders, and project teams while supporting public engagement, project development, and decision-making efforts.\nSupport business development through technical proposals, project pursuits, scope development, engineering cost estimates, schedules, staffing plans, and mentoring of junior engineering staff\nMinimum:\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.\nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license.\n8 years of experience in transportation engineering, roadway design, Complete Streets, or multimodal infrastructure projects or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nExperience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing projects from planning through construction.\nExperience with project budgeting, scheduling, quality management, and client coordination.\nPreferred:\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Transportation, Urban Planning, or related discipline.\nExperience serving as Engineer of Record and signing/sealing transportation project deliverables.\nExperience in transportation BIM, digital delivery, and 3D modeling\nExperience with Complete Streets, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, roadway reconstruction, and multimodal transportation planning and design.\nExperience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, ArcGIS, or related transportation design software.\n Relocation is not an option for this position \nSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
