Join us.\n Join our growing Transportation team and play a key role in delivering impactful highway infrastructure projects across the Southeast. We are seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of mid-sized to large civil highway projects from concept development through final design, construction support, and project closeout.\nThis position offers the opportunity to manage complex transportation projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, build strong client relationships, and contribute to improving mobility and infrastructure throughout the region.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a transportation professional seeking to advance into a leadership role while managing meaningful highway infrastructure projects across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.\nResponsibilities:\nManage mid-sized to large transportation and highway design projects from planning and concept development through construction services.\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, agency stakeholders, and project teams.\nDevelop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and quality objectives.\nLead multidisciplinary teams of roadway, drainage, traffic, structural, and environmental professionals.\nOversee project delivery to ensure technical excellence, profitability, and client satisfaction.\nCoordinate with state DOTs, local agencies, municipalities, and other stakeholders throughout project development.\nMonitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project objectives.\nPrepare and review technical proposals, project work plans, and contract documents.\nMentor junior engineers and project staff while fostering collaboration and professional growth.\nSupport business development initiatives, including client engagement, proposal preparation, and pursuit strategies.\nProvide construction phase support, including design clarifications, reviews, and coordination with contractors and owners.\n Minimum\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline and eight (8) years of highway/roadway design experience on transportation infrastructure projects or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.\nFour years of project management experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license for either SC, NC, or TN states or the ability to obtain through reciprocity\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules, scopes, and client relationships.\nExperience in transportation project development and delivery processes.\nPreferred\nExperience working with one or more state DOTs, including SCDOT, NCDOT, or TDOT.\nProven success managing complex transportation projects from conception through construction.\nExperience with alternative delivery methods and large-scale transportation programs.\nDemonstrated experience in business development and client management.\nExperienced in motivational communication, leadership, and team management skills.\n Relocation is an option for this position \nWe are interested in every qualified candidate eligible to work in the United States.
