Join us.\n AECOM has a need for an on-site Sr. Quality Assurance Construction Inspector to support the US Army Corps of Engineers on various construction projects in Hanscom Air Force Base in Lincoln, Massachusetts.\nJob Responsibilities are as follows:\nProvide oversight of construction to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards. Include evaluation of level of inspection, testing procedures and results, documentation of deficiency correction, etc. in accordance with the USACE 3-Phase inspection program.\nComplete and maintain records of field observations, including daily reports outlining the work performed, as well as field measurements and computations.\nDocument observations and inspections of construction including discrepancy notices for non-compliant items.\nComplete and maintain records of field observations, including daily reports outlining the work performed, as well as field measurements and computations in the RMS.\nAttend and participate in construction progress meeting.\nPerform infrastructure walk through and develop punchlists as required.\nProvide construction photographs as required to document progress and problem areas.\nAttend contractor's weekly project meetings.\nParticipate in tests, demonstrations, and field instructions with the appropriate personnel.\nMinimum Requirements:\nHS + 10 Years of relevant experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing, to include three (3) years of quality control management of DoD construction projects.\nDue to the nature of the project US citizenship is required\nMust pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background checks. Projects/clients are security sensitive.\nMust pass pre-employment drug screen.\nUp to 50% of the time the position needs to move about indoor and outdoor construction site environments with uneven terrain, variable environmental conditions including heat, dusts, noise, moisture, and dryness\nOccasionally (10-25% of workday) performing repetitive bending/stooping, repetitive or fine hand movements, working at heights, and lifting and carrying equipment weighing less than 25 pounds\nAt times the position requires working with arms above shoulder level, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), climbing stairs, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, and lifting greater than 25 pounds\nThe position requires wearing associated personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection\nPreferred Requirements:\nStrong knowledge of construction QA/QC processes, including the three phases of control (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up).\nFamiliarity with contract documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, and progress payment evaluations.\nDemonstrated experience conducting inspections, witnessing testing, and interpreting third-party test results. Proficiency in construction management software and documentation systems (e.g., Procore, RMS, or similar platforms).\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of detailed daily reports and technical documentation. Ability to work independently on-site while coordinating effectively with Government stakeholders and contractors.\nExperience supporting project closeout activities, including punch list management and final inspections.
