We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketeer to join our Strategic Marketing team and lead Transportation related marketing. This pivotal role will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive growth, elevate brand presence, and support high-impact initiatives across key transportation sectors Surface Transportation, Ports, Rail and Transit in Europe and India.

You will play a key role in identifying and activating growth opportunities, leading sector brand campaigns and flagship regional events, and supporting the Head of Strategic Marketing in operational excellence and performance tracking. This is a high-visibility role requiring strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on client-centric campaign delivery.

Sitting on the Transportation Leadership Team, and operating as a trusted, senior partner to leadership, Client Account Managers, Growth and Government Relations, this role translates sector ambition into focused, integrated marketing strategies that directly support priority accounts, pipeline, sharpen differentiation, and increase relevance with senior decision-makers.

  • Transportation sector brands are more visible, differentiated and credible across UK, Europe & India.
  • Marketing activity across Surface transportation, Ports and Rail + Transit is clearly aligned to priority accounts and growth ambition.
  • Marketing contributions demonstrably support pipeline development, work winning and client retention.
  • Transportation leadership views marketing as a strategic growth partner, not a support function.

Key Accountabilities:

Growth and Clients

  • Act as strategic marketing partner to UK, Europe & India Transportation leadership.
  • Drive brand-based marketing aligned to priority accounts.
  • Link marketing activity to pipeline, work winning and retention.
  • Work closely with Client Account Managers to champion the voice of the client and articulate the desired client experience across the business.

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Synthesize insight from clients and the market to develop marketing objectives, strategy and plans aligned to business goals.
  • Defining and delivering integrated multi-channel marketing plans (events, thought leadership, digital marketing collateral, media relations).
  • Translate complex technical capability into compelling, credible narratives for target audiences.
  • Manage and measures activities that deliver enhanced client engagement and experience.
  • Define success measures and KPIs, evaluate performance using insight and analytics, and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness.

Stakeholder Management and Influence

  • Influence across a complex matrix without direct authority.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
  • Represent Aviation marketing strategy in senior leadership forums.

Marketing Operations & Performance

  • Direct line management of at least one FTE.
  • Support the Head of Strategic Marketing in managing marketing operations, including budget tracking, reporting, performance analysis and governance.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools; optimize based on insights.
  • Contribute to monthly marketing dashboards and ROI reporting for senior leadership.
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing processes and approval workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing roles within a B2B environment or similar. Transportation experience preferable, or adjacent sectors.
  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing high-impact marketing strategies that drive growth in complex, competitive markets.
  • Global Perspective: Ability to align regional strategies with global goals.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Strong client engagement skills, with experience in building marketing initiatives that strengthen client relationships and drive sales.
  • Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams, alongside extensive experience collaborating with large groups of technical specialists.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data analytics tools to track marketing performance, with a strong focus on optimizing for ROI and results.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
