Join us.\n The Structural Engineer will be responsible for supervising and inspecting structural works associated with stormwater, drainage, irrigation, pumping stations, utility structures, retaining structures, culverts, chambers, and other infrastructure assets. The role requires ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, quality standards, contractual obligations, and HSE regulations throughout the construction lifecycle.\nSupervise and inspect all structural construction activities related to stormwater, irrigation, drainage, pumping stations, culverts, manholes, chambers, utility structures, retaining walls, foundations, and associated infrastructure works.\nEnsure all structural works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, and the requirements of Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, DEWA, and other relevant authorities.\nReview and provide comments on structural shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, temporary works, and as-built drawings.\nVerify that construction activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and engineering best practices.\nCoordinate with contractors, designers, utility authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve structural design discrepancies, clashes, and site-related issues.\nMonitor contractor performance, construction sequencing, and progress to ensure works are completed in accordance with approved schedules.\nDirect, supervise, and coordinate the activities of structural inspectors and site supervision staff.\nConduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship, quality compliance, and adherence to approved construction procedures.\nIdentify, document, and report non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.\nEnsure structural works interface effectively with roads, stormwater drainage networks, irrigation systems, utilities, and other infrastructure elements.\nAttend progress meetings, technical workshops, authority inspections, and coordination meetings to assist in resolving site and construction issues.\nMonitor testing activities related to structural works, including concrete works, reinforcement installation, structural elements, and material compliance.\nAssist the Senior Resident Engineer in reviewing contractor claims, variations, design changes, and technical submissions.\nSupport snagging, project closeout, and handover activities, ensuring all structural works are completed and documented in accordance with project requirements.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports highlighting construction status, quality observations, risks, and recommendations.\nMonitor compliance with project HSE requirements and intervene when unsafe practices or work methods are observed.\n Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering or equivalent.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects.\nProven experience in stormwater, drainage, irrigation, utility, roads, and infrastructure projects.\nStrong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, foundations, retaining walls, culverts, utility structures, and pumping station structures.\nExperience with QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, and contract compliance.\nFamiliarity with UAE authority regulations and infrastructure project requirements.\nUAE/GCC experience preferred.\n Structural Construction Supervision\nInfrastructure Structures\nQA/QC & Contract Compliance\nShop Drawing & Material Review\nAuthority Coordination (DM, RTA, DEWA)\nTechnical Problem Solving\nInspection & Reporting\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
