Join us.\n As a Technical Lead for Substation Projects, you play a key role in the end-to-end development and execution of high-voltage infrastructure projects. You are responsible for coordinating engineering activities across multiple disciplines and ensuring the effective integration of electrical systems, civil interfaces, and grid connection requirements.\nYou support projects throughout their entire lifecycle-from early concept development and detailed engineering to delivery support-ensuring technical consistency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality execution within the German energy market.\nWorking closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, grid operators, clients, and external partners, you help deliver complex power infrastructure solutions. At the same time, you contribute to strengthening technical capabilities within the organization and support the evolution of modern substation and grid integration concepts, particularly in the context of the energy transition.\nResponsibilities:\nTechnical coordination of substation projects:\nLead the overall technical delivery of high-voltage substation projects across multiple voltage levels\nEnsure alignment between primary systems, secondary systems, and protection concepts\nCoordinate interfaces between electrical engineering, civil works, and grid connection requirements\nMonitor technical execution with respect to quality, schedule, and cost targets\nEngineering integration and system design:\nDevelop and align technical concepts for high-voltage substations, including layout and system architecture\nEnsure functional integration of protection, control, and automation systems\nSupport the development of grid connection and system design concepts\nMaintain technical consistency across all project phases\nRegulatory and grid compliance:\nEnsure compliance with German technical standards and applicable engineering regulations\nSupport permitting and approval processes with authorities and grid operators\nEnsure alignment with grid code and utility requirements\nProject and stakeholder coordination:\nAct as a technical interface between clients, grid operators, internal engineering teams, and contractors\nTranslate technical requirements into clear engineering deliverables\nSupport technical discussions and decision-making across project stakeholders\nInfrastructure development and innovation:\nContribute to the development of modern substation concepts supporting the energy transition\nSupport continuous improvement of engineering capabilities within the organization\nHelp shape scalable solutions for future energy infrastructure projects\n Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification\nExperience in planning and delivery of high-voltage or substation infrastructure projects\nStrong understanding of primary, secondary, and protection systems\nFamiliarity with German and European technical standards in the power sector\nExperience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments\nAbility to manage complex technical interfaces across project stakeholders\nStrong communication skills in German and English\nStructured, solution-oriented engineering mindset with a holistic system view\n Why join us?
