Join us.\n We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician / Civil Draftsman with proven experience in infrastructure projects, particularly sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, and road networks. The role is responsible for preparing and updating technical drawings, as-built documentation, and design layouts using MicroStation and AutoCAD, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, inspectors, and project teams to deliver accurate and coordinated engineering drawings throughout the project lifecycle.\nPrepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation using the latest versions of MicroStation and AutoCAD.\nInterpret design inputs from engineers and accurately translate them into detailed and coordinated construction drawings.\nReview, update, and maintain drawings in compliance with project specifications, authority requirements (RTA, DM, DEWA), and AECOM quality standards.\nTrack and verify existing sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation networks in Dubai using as-built records from Drainage (DS), Irrigation (IRR), and Roads projects.\nConduct site surveys and coordinate with inspectors to verify construction progress and collect accurate data for as-built documentation.\nCoordinate closely with engineers, inspectors, and document control teams to ensure timely submission and approval of drawings.\nUpdate and prepare redline markups, section details, pipeline profiles, and shaft layouts based on field data.\nMaintain a well-organized archive and digital record system for all project drawings and revisions.\nReview contractors’ as-built and shop drawing submissions to verify compliance with actual site conditions.\nProvide technical drafting support during construction to ensure drawings reflect approved changes and actual site execution.\nSupport the preparation of utility coordination drawings, ensuring accuracy across multiple services and avoiding conflicts.\nEnsure all drawing deliverables meet AECOM and authority CAD standards, including layering, scaling, and title block consistency.\n Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 7-10 years of experience in civil infrastructure drafting and design.\nProficient in the latest versions of MicroStation and AutoCAD.\nStrong experience in sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, and roads infrastructure projects.\nGood knowledge of Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, and DEWA standards and requirements.\nExperience in preparing as-built drawings, redline markups, pipeline profiles, utility layouts, and construction details.\nAbility to interpret engineering designs and convert them into detailed technical drawings.\nFamiliarity with site survey processes and coordination with construction and inspection teams.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams.\n At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
