Join us.\n AECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to be based in Tucson, AZ.\nJob Summary\nDirects and managers the entire project, provides guidance to task leads and entire project team, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.\nHas full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.\nOverall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budget and schedule through contract closeout.\nPosition has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.\nJob Description\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nWork with the local management to develop and execute project pursuits and delivery\nFormulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for strategic pursuits and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects\nEstablish relationships with both external and internal clients\nManage and mentor staff to enable seamless design and plan development\nBe a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally\nMust possess excellent analytical, technical skills and communication (oral and written) skills\nProven track record with client account management, project pursuit execution, and engineering staff development\n Minimum Requirements\nBA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education\nArizona PE required\nPreferred Qualifications\n15 + years of progressive experience designing and delivering projects\nClient relationships and business development experience\nExperience as project manager on transportation projects with cities and counties within AZ\n Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
