We’re one global team - 47,000 strong - driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.\n AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Wind Site Team Leader to provide day-to-day PMC oversight of utility-scale wind package delivery, including Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), Balance of Plant (BoP), Underground Shared Services (USS), and associated infrastructure. The role will coordinate multidisciplinary site teams and interface with EPC contractors, OEMs, and client representatives to ensure safe, timely, and quality execution through construction, commissioning, and handover.\nThe position serves as the primary package-level coordination lead, managing progress, risks, constraints, readiness activities, and stakeholder interfaces while supporting programme governance and client reporting.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Delivery & Site Leadership\nLead and coordinate PMC site activities across all wind package workstreams.\nManage deployment and priorities of PMC discipline engineers and construction management resources.\nMonitor EPC contractor and OEM performance against approved schedules, quality requirements, and contractual commitments.\nSupport achievement of project milestones, energization targets, and commissioning objectives.\nInterface & Stakeholder Management\nCoordinate interfaces among EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, utility organizations, and client representatives.\nManage package-level coordination for roads, foundations, turbine erection, electrical works, commissioning, and HOTO activities.\nEscalate critical issues and facilitate resolution of multidisciplinary challenges impacting project delivery.\nSchedule, Risk & Performance Management\nReview contractor schedules, milestone forecasts, recovery plans, and resource deployment strategies.\nMonitor progress against project baselines and identify schedule risks and constraints.\nMaintain visibility of package risks and recovery actions.\nValidate package status reporting and readiness assessments for programme governance.\nQuality, HSE & Commissioning Readiness\nMonitor quality, safety, environmental, and operational readiness performance.\nSupport commissioning planning, testing activities, and turbine readiness reviews.\nEnsure corrective actions are implemented for significant quality and HSE issues.\nDrive closure of punch-list items and readiness constraints affecting commercial operation.\nReporting & Client Support\nConsolidate site observations, risks, technical issues, and recommendations into management reports.\nPrepare package status reports, escalation papers, and readiness recommendations.\nSupport governance reviews and client-facing project meetings.\nProvide regular updates on project performance and critical decision points.\n Education\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related discipline.\nExperience\nMinimum 15 years of experience in renewable energy, wind energy, power generation, or major infrastructure projects.\nDemonstrated experience managing utility-scale wind projects through construction, commissioning, and handover.\nExperience working within PMC, EPC, Owner's Engineer, or large programme delivery environments.\nProven track record in stakeholder management and multidisciplinary project coordination.\n Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP, or equivalent.\nExperience on large-scale renewable energy programmes involving wind, solar, BESS, and grid infrastructure.\nFamiliarity with international HSE, quality, and project governance standards.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
