The position supports the design, development, maintenance, and health of digital solutions.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nProcess Mapping & Continuous Improvement Support\nSupport process discovery, documentation, and mapping (current-state, future-state) for Industrial workflows and operational processes into automation-ready logic and data flows.\nAssist with digital initiatives by mapping observed issues into improvement opportunities.\nSupport value stream analysis and identification of manual, repetitive, or high-risk process steps suitable for automation.\nPower Platform Development & Workflow Maintenance\nBuild, enhance, and maintain Power Automate flows, including document processing, approvals, notifications, and system integrations.\nSupport development, maintenance, and troubleshoot issues of Power Apps used for data intake, process tracking, and operational workflows.\nSupport testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization of new digital configuration solutions.\nData, Analytics & Microsoft Fabric Support\nSupport data ingestion, transformation, and modeling using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, pipelines, semantic models).\nAssist in maintaining datasets and data pipelines used for reporting, automation, and AI-driven insights.\nSupport Power BI dashboards by ensuring data accuracy, refresh reliability, and alignment with process logic.\nCoding, Automation Logic & Technical Support\nSupport automation logic using expressions, conditions, variables, and structured data handling within Power Platform.\nAssist with light scripting or coding tasks (e.g., SQL queries, Python for automation support, data preparation).\nSupport AI-enabled workflows (AI Builder, document intelligence, classification models) by maintaining inputs, outputs, and integrations.\nHelp ensure automation solutions remain scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement\nWork closely with Project teams to understand workflows and data requirements.\nSupport communication between technical solutions and operational users.\nAssist with training, knowledge transfer, and adoption of digital tools.\nSupport documentation, SOPs, and handover materials for sustained use of digital solutions.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nTechnical Expertise\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI.\nExperience or working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.\nExperience maintaining and troubleshooting production automation workflows.\nAwareness of SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages for data and automation support.\nFamiliarity with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and document-based workflows.\nExposure to AI-driven automation (AI Builder, document processing, classification) is an asset.\nProcess Awareness & Core Competencies\nFoundational understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement concepts, with familiarity in process mapping and process analysis (e.g., flowcharts, value stream concepts), applied to process documentation and automation support.\nDetail-oriented and comfortable working with live production systems, workflows, and data pipelines.\nStrong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and stabilize automation solutions.\nOrganized and reliable, with the ability to manage day-to-day operational support tasks alongside ongoing improvement work.\nComfortable collaborating with CI, Quality, Planning, and Project teams to understand processes and data needs.\nAble to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, especially when explaining digital workflows and automation logic.\nSelf-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow within Aecon’s digital and continuous improvement environment.\nReason for Vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 per year.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
