Join us in being part of a dynamic team building critical infrastructure that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come!\nReporting into the Integrated Operational Controls team, the Assistant Coordinator, Jr. Reporting Co-op will gain hands-on experience supporting project reporting, data analytics, dashboard development, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives within a major project environment.\nThis is a winter co-op opportunity - January 2027 start date\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nLearn about key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting metrics used across the project to monitor and report on performance.\nAssist with the development and maintenance of project reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting cost, schedule, resource, financial, and operational reporting.\nSupport functional leads and project teams in gathering reporting requirements and applying a standardized approach to performance reporting.\nCommunicate with internal stakeholders to collect, organize, and validate project data and provide updates related to performance reporting.\nGain exposure to reporting, cost, scheduling, financial, and operational systems used within a major project environment.\nAssist with developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor project performance and trends.\nSupport the analysis of project data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators related to engineering, design, construction progress, schedule, financial performance, and other project objectives.\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to help ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and consistent.\nAssist with organizing and combining information from spreadsheets, databases, and project systems for reporting and analytics purposes.\nSupport the documentation of reporting processes, KPI definitions, and data requirements to promote consistent reporting practices.\nAssist in identifying opportunities to streamline or automate manual reporting processes using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and other Microsoft technologies.\nCollaborate with project controls, commercial, finance, people and performance, and operational teams to support project reporting and analytics activities.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to improve reporting, data quality, and accessibility of project information.\nPerform ad hoc data analytics and reporting duties as required.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nCurrently enrolled in a university or college co-op program in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\nAcademic, co-op, internship, summer, or project experience involving data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization is considered an asset.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.\nExposure to SQL, DAX, Python, R, Power Query, SAP Webi, or other reporting and data analytics tools is considered an asset.\nFamiliarity with working with spreadsheets, databases, or multiple data sources, with an interest in learning how information can be combined for reporting and analysis.\nExposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI) is considered an asset.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in identifying trends and translating data into meaningful information.\nStrong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of data validation, data quality, and accurate reporting.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced project environment.\nReason for Vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
