The Buyer will be responsible for supporting all phases of procurement and vendor coordination, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality, and accurate tracking of open orders.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nAccountable for the project procurement plan and ensuring on-time delivery.\nManage procurement processes within SAP.\nNegotiate low-value contracts with vendors and service providers.\nEnsure adherence to Aecon's preferred supplier sourcing strategy.\nDrive toward zero exceptions in the procure-to-pay process.\nResolve price, delivery, account assignment, material, and service-related issues in real time.\nParticipate in and support the development of vendor improvement plans.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nUndergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAdvanced communication skills demonstrated through cross-functional meetings, technical discussions, and vendor interactions.\nProgram management experience is considered an asset.\nAbility to interpret process flow charts and understand data movement across systems.\nStrong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.\nExcellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication abilities.\nHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and mathematical skills.\nSolid research skills with a continuous learning mindset.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and SAP (procure-to-pay).\nReason for Vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 per year.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
